A 57-year-old Jackson County man faces felony charges as the result of allegations of inappropriate sexual contact with an underage victim that started 22 years ago, police report.

Christopher G. Green of Brownstown was booked into the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown at 6:34 p.m. Friday on a Class A felony charge of child molesting and Class B felony charges of incest and vicarious sexual gratification.

According to a news release from Lt. C.J. Foster with the Seymour Police Department, the charges stem from an investigation that started Friday.

As part of the investigation, police executed a Jackson Superior Court II search warrant at Green’s residence and found evidence related to the investigation, Foster said.

Green continues to be held at the jail without bond.
