Crothersville

The Tigers were back in action on Thursday against Columbus Christian, picking up their fourth win of the season. Crothersville defeated the opposition in three sets, winning, 25-15, 25-21, and 25-21. The girls will host the Christian Academy of Indiana tonight at Crothersville High School at 6:00 p.m.

Trinity Lutheran

The Cougars hosted Providence on Thursday to compete in volleyball. In a showdown between two of the best teams in the entire state of Indiana.

Providence pulled out the win in three sets, 25-17, 25-20, and 25-15.Trinity falls to 15-11 on the season.

Girls’ Soccer

Seymour

The Lady Owls’ soccer team traveled to Columbus East for a matchup with the Olympians on Thursday. Seymour pulled out the narrow 1-0 victory with the lone goal coming from Katy Roark. Elizabeth Trueblood locked down the Owls net with four saves, recording her fifth shutout of the season. The Owls improve to 5-10-2 on the season and 3-2-1 in the Hoosier Hills Conference.

The JV team also grabbed a 1-0 win over Columbus East with a score from Kenzie Hinkle. Seymour’s JV team finishes their season with a 5-2-2 record.

The Lady Owls’ start sectionals on Tuesday, Oct. 3rd against Floyd Central. The meeting will take place at Bedford North Lawrence High School and will start at 7:30 p.m.
