The family of Connor Neal Luedeman would like to wish him luck as he was shipped out for basic training on Sept. 19 at Fort Benning in Georgia to serve in the U.S. Army.

Luedeman was born Dec. 20, 2005, and is a 2023 graduate of Crothersville High School. His MOS is 94 Foxtrot, computer and detection systems repair.

Luedeman now joins in the footsteps of his relatives who all served in various military branches. His grandfather, Dana Antle, served in the U.S. Air Force; his uncle, Jared Antle, served in the U.S. Navy; and his uncle, D.J. Antle, and father, Justin Antle, both served in the U.S. Army.

Serving in the family now is his older brother, Chandler Niehause, 10th Mountain Division in the U.S. Army.

Before Luedeman left for basic training, he proposed to his now fiancée, Drew Campbell, and will be married sometime in the future.

Luedeman’s family shared a special message for him as he starts this journey: “Connor, we love you and will be praying for you. Godspeed.”
