SEYMOUR

Loretta Motsinger, 79 of Seymour passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. She was born May 26, 1944 in Austin, Indiana to Orville Roberts and Lucy Pearl Hobbs. She married Arthur M. Motsinger on November 2, 1963 in Uniontown, Indiana. She worked at Schneck Medical Center in Environmental Services for about 15 years. She enjoyed watching game shows, working puzzles and cooking but her greatest joy came from caring for her grandchildren.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Art Motsinger, her children, Dennis (Stephanie) Motsinger, Mark (Diana) Motsinger and Rodney (Jackie) Motsinger, her grandchildren, Megan (Elijah) Motsinger Toborg, Jadyn Motsinger and Avory Motsinger and great-grandchildren, Augustus “Gus” Toborg, Ryder Smith and Skylar Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Shirley Bowman and her brother, Troy Hobbs.

Private family services will be held at Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, 419 N. Chestnut St., Seymour, Indiana. Interment will take place at Riverview Cemetery.
