NASHVILLE, TN

Pamela Gail (Rigsby) Stanfield passed from this life to her beautiful eternal life with her lord, Jesus Christ at the age of 74 after a 5 1/2 year courageous battle with cancer. She was wonderfully attended to by the Alive Hospice Center in Nashville, TN.

For those that knew her, you will remember her as sweet, kind, and bringing joy & sunshine into lives with her positive attitude. She sought to be an encourager to the point of being upset with having to wear a mask during Covid, which prevented her from smiling at everyone, including strangers. Reflecting love and light, she was a great walking testimony for Jesus Christ.

In the past, she had been very active in churches with teaching, organizing events, & overseeing decorating for all the holidays. She was eager to do what was needed. She loved to cross stitch & crochet baby blankets.

Her beloved family will miss their matriarch as she loved to be with or talk on the phone to many of them daily. She loved them beyond compare.

She was joyfully reunited with her first love after being apart for 40 years. They remained in what she called the perfect marriage for nearly 15 years.

Her big smile, her love she showed, and her desire to lead family to Jesus will be her legacy.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert & Maggie Rigsby, niece Alisa Morgan, & nephew Joey Feltes.

She is survived by her husband Tom Stanfield, sons Shawn Patterson (Jennifer), Billy Patterson (Nita), bonus daughter Beka Stanfield-Chappell (Jeremy), bonus son Travis Stanfield (Kylie), & daughter-in-law Kim Levenhagen. She is also survived by her sister Vera Rigsby Rogers (Bruce) and her brother Daniel Rigsby (Rita). Grandchildren Creighton Patterson (Alicia), Isa Patterson, Joshua Patterson, Caleb Patterson, & Shiloh Stanfield. Nephews Dan Rigsby (Danielle), Matthew Rigsby (Angel), Phillip Rigsby (Aimee), Greg Eckelman (Melanie), Delmar Morgan, & nieces Sarah Lockman (Chris) and Alanna Feltes.

The family will be receiving friends on September 24, 2023 at 12:00 pm until the Celebration of Life 2:00

pm at The Pavilion at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
