Johnson family reunion held in Dudleytown


The Jason B. Johnson Reunion was held Sept. 3 at the Dudleytown Conservation Club.

The Hugh Johnson family and the Brown family served as the hosts, and Danny Brown welcomed everyone and gave the blessing for the meal.

The afternoon was spent visiting and catching up with family and friends.

Those attending from out of state were Danny and Linda Brown of Louisiana, Steve and Sarah Goldman of Texas, Danita Brown of Louisiana, Leah Brown of Florida, Bea Bengtson and Chris Krombos of Wisconsin and Bill and Nancy Parkinson of Illinois.

Others attending were Eric Melloncamp, Jim McDonald, Rhea Dawn Pence, Lonavene Johnson, Allen and Polly Pollert, Carl and Polly McKain, Brenda Jones Greif, Terrence Johnson, NaLona Deputy Bush, Barbara Deputy, Mac Deputy, Gregg, Sherri and Garrett Elliott, Rita Elliott, Duane Melloncamp, Judy Scott, Janette Elliott, Jane Allen, Cynthia Collin, Claude and Martha Morgan, Douglas West, Joan Bode, Brent Smith, Khaliesi Smith, Jerry Morgan, Kevin and Kim Hackman, Zack Ellerman, Christie Johnson, Spence Silence, Jalyn Barker, Monty and Lee Ann Silence and Bob and Carol Jones.

The Brown family celebrated the musical legacy of their father, I.W. Brown, at Tampico Baptist Church during the reunion.

The 2024 reunion will be held Sept. 1 at the Dudleytown Conservation Club with the Ova Smith family as the host.
