History center meeting time changed

The time for the Jackson County History Center’s monthly meeting has been changed for September due to fourth grade tours starting that day.

The meeting will be at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 12 at the center, 105 N. Sugar St., Brownstown. It’s open to the public and press.

Anyone interested in purchasing Pioneer Dinner tickets or picking up a Jackson County Pioneer Society application may do so during the meeting.

The center’s board normally meets at 6:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the campus. That will resume in October.

For information, call 812-358-2118 or visit Jackson County History Center of Indiana on Facebook.
