A Boy Scout from Indianapolis who has ties to Seymour earned the rank of Eagle Scout on June 15.

Ethan Hauersperger, who is a junior at Franklin Central High School, completed his Eagle project on Sept. 21, 2021. That project involved the construction of a footbridge to assist foot traffic between LifePoint Christian Church on Combs Road in Indianapolis to an adjacent subdivision.

Hauersperger, who is a member of the church and Troop 1776, is the son of Tim Hauersperger and Michelle Campbell Hauersperger. Both of his parents were born and raised in Seymour.
