Jackson County governmental offices in Brownstown along with municipal offices in Brownstown, Crothersville, Medora and Seymour will be closed Sept. 4 for the Labor Day holiday.

The Jackson County Public Library also will be closed for the holiday in Seymour and Crothersville along with the Brownstown Public Library.

The Discovery Bus also is off the road on Sept. 4. While no materials are due on that day, customers may use the materials returns at the Seymour, Crothersville and Medora libraries.

Access to materials is always available to library cardholders when the library is closed through the Indiana Digital Library at myjclibrary.org/overdrive or via the Libby/OverDrive app, on hoopla at hoopladigital.com or the hoopla app or on kanopy at myjclibrary.kanopy.com or the kanopy app.

The Seymour and Medora libraries and the Discovery Bus will reopen Sept. 5 with fall programs starting that day. The Crothersville Library will reopen Sept. 6.
