Seymour volleyball

The Seymour Owls traveled to Bloomington North, dropping their matchup in three sets.

The contest went to Bloomington 25-22, 25-19, 25-20.

Anna Fish led the team in assists with 25, while Norah Campbell led the team in defensive digs with nine.

JV would also lose their matchup 25-9, 25-19.

The freshman team was also defeated, losing 25-15, 25-20.

Seymour prepares for the Brownstown volleyball tournament on Saturday.

The team will face three different opponents, including Trinity Lutheran at 9 a.m, Jasper at noon and Bloomington South at 2 p.m.

Brownstown girls golf

The Brownstown girls golf meet scheduled on Friday has been canceled due to the heat. The meeting is scheduled to be made up Monday at 4:45 p.m. at Hickory Hills Golf Club in Brownstown.

Brownstown boys tennis

Brownstown was scheduled to face off with Scottsburg on Thursday in boys tennis. That meeting was postponed to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 1.
