Library offering adult and teen programs in September

The Jackson County Public Library is offering programs for adults in September.

The programs are at the Seymour Library unless otherwise noted.

-1 p.m. Sept. 6: Learn to create a corn husk wreath. Registration is required by Sept. 1 with a limit of 15.

-12:30 p.m. Sept. 13: Learn how to create a corn husk wreath at the Crothersville Library. Registration is required by Sept. 11 with a limit of 10.

-10:30 a.m. Sept. 16: Learn how to grow native plants from seed. Indiana Native Seed Communities program leader Bill Daniels will focus on autumn and winter seed sowing and talk about collecting and preparing seeds and recommended containers, soil mixes and seed treatments. Registration is required by Sept. 14.

-9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 19: Jackson County Clerk Piper Acton will assist with voter registration or answer questions about registration status.

-5 p.m. Sept. 25: Individuals or teams can compete in Trivia Night. Registration is limited to 30 for this month’s theme, which is movie trivia.

Programs offered for teens in grades 6 to 12 will meet in the Seymour Library meeting room.

-5 p.m. Sept. 5: Dungeons & Dragons. All levels of players are welcome. Registration is required by Sept. 1 with a limit of 15.

-5 p.m. Sept. 19: Create a custom button pin to put on a jacket, bookbag or purse. Registration is required by Sept. 18 with a limit of 15.
