Mr. Francis W. Clark of Seymour, Indiana passed away on August 21, 2023, at 4:14 pm at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on April 11, 1935, to the late Amel and Mabel Greer Clark. On April 17, 1955, he married Bonnie J. Wright in Acme, IN and she preceded him in death on May 30, 2003.
Francis is survived by 4 children, Tony (Sherrie) Clark of Garland, TX, Mrs. Cheryl (Terry) Kriete of Seymour, IN, Mrs. Janice (Doug) Karl, Wesley Chapel, FL, and Scott (Paula) Clark of Kissimmee, FL. He is survived by ten grandchildren: Jamie Russell (Sean Goetsch) of TX, Jeremy (Amanda) Clark of TX, Julie Clark of TX, Jordan Clark of TX, Mrs. Krista (Ryan) McIntire of IN, Kyle Kriete of IN, Erick (Becca) Karl of IA Tyler (Laura) Karl of OH; James (Shannon) Clark of FL and Jake (Annie) Clark of FL. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren, Mrs. Hassan (Glory) Badawy, Grace Russell, Gillian Russell, Jackson Clark, Cooper Clark, Austin Clark all of TX; Landon McIntire, Talan McIntire, Declan McIntire all of IN; Emmalyn Karl, Emmitt Karl, Emmry Karl all of IA; Gwendolyn Karl &Eleanor Karl all of OH; Kynleigh Godshalk, Jayden Clark, Everleigh Clark all of FL; a brother, Dale Clark and one sister, Dottie Burkhart.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and nine siblings.
Mr. Clark was a member of Peter Switch Church of the Nazarene in Seymour, IN. In his career he worked at Cummins Engine Company for over 20 years and worked at Schneck Medical Center for over 30 years.
Funeral services for Francis will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Voss and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Acme Cemetery. Friends may call at Voss &Sons Funeral Home on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 5pm to 7pm and on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 10am until the time of services at 11am at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the Schneck Foundation, Peter Switch Church of the Nazarene or Donor’s Choose.
