A rummage sale is set for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 25 and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 26 in the livery barn at the Jackson County History Center, 105 N. Sugar St., Brownstown.

Items available for purchase will include clothing, footwear, jewelry, kitchenware, toys, children’s books, games, puzzles, mystery and western books, travel, cookery, craft books, Indiana classics, recorded music and movies and more.

Proceeds will benefit the history center, a nonprofit organization that preserves and promotes local history.
