The Jackson County Plan Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Jackson County Courthouse, 111 S. Main St., Brownstown.

Applicant Vicente Guevara is petitioning for a special exception to operate a pallet manufacturing and distribution business in a general business zoning district at 2729 N. U.S. 31, Seymour.

The property Guevara is petitioning to build on was previously a junkyard and will include a mobile office and accessory building.

Also, applicant Laken Reynolds is applying for a special exception to construct a 25-by-40-foot building to operate a pet grooming and boarding business in a residential zoning district.

The property at 3047 S. State Road, Medora, where the business will operate includes the applicant’s existing residence and three other accessory buildings.
