The Jackson County Council is set to meet at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the courthouse, 111 S. Main St., Brownstown.

Agenda items include a 2024 budget request from Sue Lamborn with Thrive Alliance and updates on the Healthy Jackson County and Jackson-Jennings Recovery Community organizations from Lindsay Sarver, who is the community health improvement strategist for Schneck Medical Center’s Healthy Jackson County Mental Health and Substance Use Taskforce.

Department heads and elected officials also are expected to give their monthly reports during the meeting, which is open to the public and press.
