Jackson County 4-H once again is presenting quiet barn time for individuals with special needs and differing abilities at the Jackson County Fair.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday in Show Arena 2 at the fairgrounds in Brownstown, they will have an opportunity to interact with a variety of animals handled by 4-H volunteers and members.
Then from 2 to 4 p.m. that day, quiet ride time for those with special needs will take place on the midway at the fairgrounds.
Through a partnership with Poor Jack Amusements, select rides will be open for those individuals to enjoy. Ride bracelets will be available for participants.
