Brooke Trinkle will run the mile in a seniors vs. juniors all-star track meet this afternoon at Marian University.

Trinkle, a recent graduate of Seymour High School, received an invitation earlier this week to compete in the meet..

Trinkle competed in the girls state meet last Saturday at Bloomington and ran a season-best mile time of 5:16.20 to place 21st.

The meet will pit senior girls against junior girls and senior boys against junior boys.

The field events will begin at 1 p.m.

Trinkle will attend Marian University this fall and will be a member of the college’s track and field team.
