Trinity United Methodist Church in Seymour recently received a grant along with other churches in surrounding areas to strengthen local church programs of history.

On April 30, several awards were issued from a fund created by Richard and Eleanor Stowe to honor the memory of their daughter, Rebecca Lynn Stowe Bosley. Bosley was a science teacher, beloved family member, loving daughter and mother who had a very strong faith.

The one-time series of small grants will be used for initiating or strengthening the local church programs of history through the purchase of archival furnishings or supplies or other more imaginative uses.

Grant monies will be provided for more traditional historical usage based on physical needs, supplies or personnel.
