Elementary-age programs set for summer at library

The Jackson County Public Library is offering free programming for children in kindergarten through fifth grade as part of the Peace, Love & Libraries summer learning program at the Seymour and Crothersville libraries.

Registration is required for these programs, and space is limited. Students may register at myjclibrary.org/events.

Seymour

The Art Thing — An art class for creative kids that will meet at 4:30 p.m. Mondays from June 5 through July 31. The class will not meet July 10.

Curious Kids — A STEAM class that will meet at 5 p.m. June 15 and 29 and July 13 and 27.

Elementary Eats — A cooking class for children in grades 1 to 5 that will meet from 4 to 5:15 p.m. Tuesdays June 6 through July 25. The class will not meet July 4.

Peace Around the World — A class celebrating other cultures that will meet at 4 p.m. June 9.

Crothersville

Curious Kids — A STEAM class that will meet at 4:30 p.m. June 21 and July 19.
