Rick Bryan Clark, 60, of Seymour passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at his home after a brief illness. He was born on April 30, 1963, in Seymour, the son of Roger and Evelyn (Poole) Clark. On August 18, 1984, he married Lisa Wilson, and she survives.

In addition to his wife Lisa, Rick is survived by three children, Zach (Kourtney) Clark, Chastity (Zach) Brady, and Makenze (Reid) Wieneke all of Seymour; one grandchild, Wayland Clark; three brothers, Michael (Cheryl) Clark of Seymour, Mark (Sara) Clark of Brownstown, and Randy (Jenny) Clark of Madison. Rick is also survived by four lab grand dogs, Gunnar, Gus, Boone, and Willow. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Rick was a 1981 graduate of Seymour High School. He, the “Water Shark”, worked as a foreman at Indiana American Water Company until retiring this past year. When he wasn’t working, Rick could be found playing the guitar, playing golf, talking on the phone, or spending time with his family. If it was a Saturday morning, he could be found anywhere from Ace Hardware to fire stations or anywhere in between. He was a member of The Point.

A celebration of life for Rick will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Voss and Son’s Funeral Home in Seymour with Rick Wilson officiating. The family will greet friends and family on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
