Build a frog workshop set at libraries

The Jackson County Public Library is offering a free Noah’s Ark Animal Workshop for children ages 2 to 12 at the Medora and Crothersville libraries and at Gaiser Park in Seymour.

Participants will build an adorable stuffed frog friend to take home, according to a news release from the library. Each participant also will receive a bilingual (English/Spanish) copy of “Frog Meets Dog” by Janee Trasler.

Registration is required and space is limited in these programs sponsored by the Friends of the Jackson County Public Library. No groups registrations are allowed.

Program locations and times are:

Crothersville Library, 1 p.m. June 5. Registration opens at noon May 22, and the program is limited to 15.

Medora Library, 1 p.m. June 6. Registration opens at 2 p.m. May 23, and the program is limited to 15.

Gaiser Park, 10:30 a.m. June 7 and 4 p.m. June 8. Registration opens at 9:30 a.m. May 23, and the program is limited to 45 for each session.
