A West Virginia woman was arrested Tuesday in Seymour on felony drug and theft charges and public indecency for urinating in a store.

Mackenzie R. Creel, 21, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and theft with a prior conviction for depriving the business of the value of the item, both Level 6 felonies; possession of paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor; and public indecency, a Class A misdemeanor, according to a news release from Seymour Police Department Lt. C.J. Foster.

On Tuesday, patrol officers responded to a local business in the 1000 block of East Tipton Street, where Creel had exposed herself and urinated on an item for sale. Officers located Creel in the parking lot.

Foster said Creel ignored orders from officers to stop and ran away. Officers ultimately caught up with her and took her into custody.

During a search of Creel, officers located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, Foster said.

Creel was then arrested and taken to the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown.
