IUPUC commencement celebration set for May 11

Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus will hold its 2023 commencement celebration ceremony at 10 a.m. May 11 at the Airpark Columbus campus.

There are 234 graduates this year, representing 12 undergraduate and three graduate programs. These students completed their coursework in December 2022 or are expected to complete their programs in May or August.

“We are so pleased to honor the hard work and accomplishments of our 2023 graduates,” said Reinhold Hill, vice chancellor and dean of IUPUC. “We applaud our students for persevering through the unprecedented disruptions related to the global pandemic to reach this exciting milestone.”

IUPUC’s 2023 commencement speakers include:

• Andy Klein, IUPUI interim chancellor

• Audra McNear, IUPUC Student Government Activities Board president

• Sarah Achenbach, IUPUC Chancellor’s Scholar Award recipient

Grandstand seating will be available, and guests are asked to be seated by 9:30 a.m., as the processional starts at 9:45 a.m. and the program begins at 10 a.m. sharp. No registration or ticket is required this year.
