Registration and lunch will start at 11:30 a.m.

The cost is $100 per golfer, which includes green fees, lunch provided by Amazing Graze, range balls, a cart, contests and prizes.

Register a team of four by calling Pam Kindel at 812-216-2297, emailing [email protected] or visiting guestli.st/742656.

She also may be contacted about being a hole sponsor. Sponsorship levels are Birdie for $150 (signage at tee box), Birdie Plus for $200 (signage at tee box, sponsor may sit at box and includes lunch), Contest for $300 (signage at tee box, sponsor may sit at box and includes lunch) and $600 (one team, signage at tee box and sponsor may sit at box). To be a beverage cart sponsor, it’s $400.

Proceeds will benefit Blessings in a Backpack of Jackson County, which currently provides weekend meals for 622 elementary and middle school children in the county.

Blessings in a Backpack mobilizes communities, individuals and resources to provide food on the weekends for elementary and middle school children. The program works with nutritionists to develop weekend menus that provide the most protein for the dollar spent.

The food given to the kids is shelf stable, easy to open and requires no preparation or access to appliances. It costs $150 per kid each school year to send the weekly meals home with them.

Without the help of local individuals and businesses providing donations, these children may otherwise go hungry.
