The Ride of Silence will begin at 7 p.m. May 17 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 333 S. Chestnut St., Seymour.

Accident survivors will be given special recognition, and a moment of silence will be offered for those bicyclists who have died.

The ride will be approximately one hour long at a slow pace around Seymour. Burkholder Funeral Chapel is providing a hearse and driver to lead the procession, and the Seymour Police Department and Seymour Fire Department will block busy intersections for the ride.
