FREETOWN, IN

Ms. Reah Hamilton, 72, of Freetown, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023, at Lutheran Community Home. She was born in Seymour to the late John and Elizabeth Hohnstreiter. On September 5, 1987, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, she married Cleve Hamilton with Rev. Ronald Mueller officiating. Mr. Cleve Hamilton passed away on February 27, 2019.

Reah enjoyed playing with her grandchildren. She loved playing Willie Nelson music. She also enjoyed playing bingo at the VFW and American Legion.

Reah is survived by her three children, Matthew (Jennifer) Hohnstreiter, Katharine (David) Rhoades, Emmalee Hamilton (Adam Wallskog); six grandchildren, Logan, Megan, Collin, Roselynn, Margaret, and Evelyn.

In addition to her husband Cleve, Reah was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Voss &Son’s Funeral Home with the Reverend James Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
