Frank Xsavier Ruane II, age 60, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, went to be be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 10, 2023 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on September 20, 1962 to the late Frank X. Ruane Sr. and the late Sandra “Sandy” (Wright) Ruane. Frank will forever be remembered as a kind, generous, selfless, funny man that loved life and lived it to the fullest with his relationship with God and his family being his primary focus.

He was a faithful member of Cornerstone Community Church for over 12 years where he served alongside his beloved wife in the children’s ministry and the puppet ministry alongside his daughter for the youth ministry.

His hobbies included making BBQing, building LEGOS, and the occasional round of golf. He was the “Ultimate Dad”. He loved playing games with his family and many times making up silly games for them as well. He loved doing treasure hunts with his daughter and and one time set up an “Amazing Race” for hid daughters birthday all over Seymour. On June 16, 1995 he married his best friend, Rebecca “Becky” (Riale) Ruane and Frank would prove to be a wonderful provider, protector and together they would build a legacy of love for people and ministry. Frank will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him and each life that he touched in his own special way.

Frank is survived by his wife Rev. Rebecca “Becky” Ruane, two daughters, Kelly Ebel and her husband Nick of Reno, NV and Savanna Ruane of Seymour, Indiana. one son, Frank X. Ruane III of Seymour, Indiana and two brothers, Mark Ruane and his wife Kathy of Seymour, Indiana and Greg Ruane and his wife Kimberly of Kokomo, Indiana. Four Grandchildren,.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home. Graveside services will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Riverview Cemetery with Pastor Johnnie Spivey officiating. Full military honors will be observed.
