92, lifelong resident of Medora, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023. He was born April 11, 1930 in Medora, Indiana to the late Ralph and Doris (Watts) Gray. Bernard was a 1948 graduate of Medora High School. He married Wilma Coleen Fleetwood, June 24, 1952, and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Germany during WWII. Bernard was employed with Medora Brick Co. for 45 years, retiring as Superintendent. He was a longtime member of The Tabernacle at Sandy Creek.

Visitation will be Friday, April 14, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at The Tabernacle at Sandy Creek, 5707 N. Sandy Creek Drive, Seymour, Indiana.

Bernard is survived by his devoted daughters, Sandra J. Wineinger (Rev. Donald) and Andra K. Raney (Rev. Russell); grandchildren, Patrick A. Wineinger, Amber R. Smith (Rev. Blake), Natalie N. Hays (Brad) and Nathaniel A. Raney (Fonda); great-grandchildren, Savanna, Sophia, Brookelyn, Avery, Hudson, Alivia, Abby, Brayden, Temperance and Bentley; and sisters, Nadine V. Emily and Betty L. Bozarth. Bernard was preceded in death by his loving wife of nearly 70 years, Wilma “Coleen” Gray; granddaughter, Natasha Raney; brother, Rev. E.R. Gray; and sisters, Deborah Gray, Bonnie Reynolds and Fay Eason.
