Mickie L. Drummond, 63, of Freetown, IN passed away from a 2-year illness at 10:45 AM on Friday, March 31, 2023, at his home. After more than 30 years of employment, he retired from Exopac as a Webber operation. He was of Baptist faith. He enjoyed spending time with his wife Glenda (Collins) Drummond, family, and friends. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, working outdoors, woodworking, farming, and building things with his hands. Mickie was born in Chillicothe, MO on May 23, 1959. He was the son of Herbert Wayne & Mary Alice (Elkins) Drummond who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Glenda (Collins) Drummond of Freetown, IN, brother Lonnie Drummond of Commiskey, IN, sister LaDonna (Brad) Watts of Commiskey, IN, DeAnna McBride of Huntsville, AL, stepchildren Kathryn Redelman of Norman, IN, Sarah Grider of Norman, IN, John Grider Jr, of Seymour, IN, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert Wayne & Mary Alice (Elkins) Drummond, 1 sister-in-law Rhonda Drummond, and 1 brother-in-law David McBride. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Crothersville, IN with burial to follow at Marion Baptist Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023, at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Crothersville, IN.
