BROWNSTOWN

Lora Lynn Robison, age 56, of Brownstown, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at her home.

She worked at Developmental Services, Inc. in Seymour for 18 years.

Lora attended and graduated from Parkview Primary School in Bedford. She had a great memory, and she enjoyed writing stories, and studying history. Lora loved Bobby Knight, and she was a big fan of Carol Burnett. She also loved watching I.U. basketball, NASCAR, old movies, and old televisions shows, especially The Waltons, Dallas, and Little House on the Prairie.

Born on May 16, 1966, in Seymour, Lora was the daughter of Dickie Joe and Carolyn Brooks Robison. Her father, Dickie Joe, preceded her in death on April 19, 2013, and her mother, Carolyn, survives in Brownstown.

Survivors also include one uncle, Tom Lubker; cousins: Gerda Shebaster, Nancy (Dennis) Sterling, Jon (Peggy) Robison, Kevin Robison, Brad (Sharon) Robison, Mark (Deneen) Lubker, Marty (Lori) Lubker, and Brian Lubker; close relatives: Kristin Norman, and Kasey Wischmeier; and caregiver, Kalli Berry.

Besides her father, Lora was also preceded in death by her grandparents: George and Myrtle Robison, and Roy and Florence Brooks; four uncles: Clair “Poky” Robison, Raymond “Friday” Robison, Bob Robison, and Herb Banister; two aunts: Marcella Banister, and Mary Virginia Lubker; and five cousins: Stanley Robison, Tim Henley, Terry Henley, Steve Robison, and Jeff Robison.

Funeral services for Lora Lynn Robison will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Monday, March 23, 2023, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Pastor Mitchell McIntyre officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.

Memorials may be given to Developmental Services, Inc. of Seymour.
