SEYMOUR, IN

Larry E. Sullivan, 93, of Seymour, IN passed away Tuesday evening, March 14, 2023, at the Covered Bridge in Seymour. He was born on July 6, 1929, in Indianapolis, the son of Edward and Marie (Teichner) Sullivan. He married Laura Mae Weekley on August 12, 1950, in Freetown, IN and she preceded her in death on December 27, 2022.

Larry is survived by one son, Kevin Sullivan; two daughters, Nancy (Lanny) Wininger, and Mary Ann (Larry) Case; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

In addition to Larry’s wife Laura Mae, he was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marie Teichner Sullivan; one son, Donald Sullivan; two sisters, Dorothy Acton and Marjorie Hoffmeier.

Larry was a member of the Seymour United Methodist Church. He was employed with Cummins for forty-one years before retiring. He enjoyed gardening and playing golf during the spring and summer months. Besides gardening and playing golf Larry enjoyed listening to southern gospel music especially the group The Gaithers.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023, at 1p.m. at Voss and Son’s Funeral Service. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2023, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Voss and Son’s Funeral Service. Larry will be laid to rest next to his wife Laura and son Donald at Freetown Cemetery.

Family request memorial contributions be made to the Pershing Township Fire Department.
