Crothersville FFA members participated in the District XI FFA Leadership Contest on Saturday at Salem High School.
This event is where FFA members showcase their leadership abilities through various competitions against the more than 20 other schools in the district. Just placing is an accomplishment, Crothersville FFA Adviser Linda Myers said.
Crothersville’s participants and placings were:
Kendra Kelshaw: Discovery Animal Science Demonstration, second place
Kendall Berry: Employment Skills (job interview), Essay and Leadership Ambassador, participant
Baron Riley: Freshman Extemporaneous Public Speaking, first place; Multimedia Scrapbook, first place; Freshman Prepared Public Speaking, third place; Plant and Soil Science Demonstration, participant
Corey Engleking: Exhibit, third place; Natural Resource Demonstration, second place
Brayden Crater: Exhibit, third place; Natural Resource Demonstration, second place
Grace Smith: Traditional Scrapbook, first place
