Rosetta Cole, 71, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023, in Brownstown. She was a resident of Seymour.

She was born November 5, 1951, in Scott County, IN to Clifton McIntosh and Ida McIntosh. She married Mart Cole on January 15, 1968, in Jackson, KY. Survivors include her; one son, John (Amanda) Cole of Columbus; one brother, Berry Johnson of Breathitt County, KY; and a sister, Elca Mae (Denny) Bouchard. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one sister, Christine.

Rosetta was a CNA for over 50 years at Seymour Crossing Nursing Home.

Visitation will take place at Voss &Sons Funeral Home, 316 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour on Thursday January 26, 2023, from 11am until the time of service at 1pm. She will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.

Thanks to many individuals and facilities who have been there for Rosetta. Thank you to her sister Elca (Denny) Bouchard, for being there every step of her life to support her big sister. To her neighbors, Pansey (Joe), Robert, Elisha Shelton, and Jerry (Connie) Macchino for supporting her family for over 20 years. Finally, thank you to many doctors and nurses from Schneck, Saint Vincent, Silver Oaks, and Hoosier Christian Village for never giving up on her.
