SEYMOUR, IN

Barbara Lou Childers, 72, of Seymour, IN passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the University of Louisville – Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born on March 26, 1950, in Crothersville, IN the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Stigdon) Guy. She married George L. Childers and he survives.

In addition to her husband Barbara is survived by two grandchildren, Ashley Jackson and Bradley Jackson; two great grandchildren, Jerrod Crews and Briar Crews. In addition to her grandchildren and great grandchildren she is also survived by one brother, Curtis Guy; two sisters, Marlene Cross, and Lisa (Rusty) Terry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her two daughters, Bobbie Edwards and Tereasina Jackson; her parents and one brother-in-law.

Barbara was a homemaker throughout her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren whenever she had the chance. She enjoyed watching online church services with The Point Church. Besides spending time with her family she enjoyed playing games on her computer and drawing.

Per Barbara’s wishes there will be no services at this time. Voss Funeral Service in Seymour is in charge of arrangements.
