The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced single-lane closures for Interstate 65 northbound and southbound in Jackson and Scott counties for asphalt patching work.

Beginning on or after Monday, crews will begin single lane restrictions the 29 mile marker at Scottsburg to 50 mile marker at Seymour. Work is scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. One lane in both the northbound and southbound directions will remain open at all times during the closure periods.

Work is expected to be completed by mid-February, depending on the weather. These restrictions will allow crews to perform routine maintenance.
