The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the awards handed out at its annual dinner and awards ceremony.

The categories are Small Business of the Year (nine or less employees), Medium Business of the Year (10 to 49 employees), Large Business of the Year (more than 50 employees), Young Professional of the Year and Spirit of the Chamber.

Nominations must be submitted online at jacksoncochamber.com or by emailing [email protected].

The list of chamber member businesses is on the website. Anyone wanting a list of the members of Jackson County Young Professionals can email the previously mentioned address.

The deadline for nominations is Feb. 10.

The annual dinner is set for March 3 at Pewter Hall in Brownstown with social hour at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:15 p.m. Along with dinner and awards, the chamber will take time to review the accomplishments of the organization in 2022 and discuss some of the events planned for 2023.

The theme will be sports, and attendees will be encouraged to wear their favorite shirt, jersey or gear. There also will be silent auction baskets to bid on.
