COLUMBUS

Robert D. Trueblood, 57, of Columbus, passed away on January 1, 2023, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Robert was born January 29, 1965, in Salem, Indiana, the son of Avis L. and Delores Geraldine Myres Trueblood. He married Timberly S. Hallett on October 20, 1990.

Robert was a die-hard University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan, as well as a St. Louis Cardinals fan. He loved racing RC cars, attending dirt track, Indy Series, and NASCAR races, as well as going to country music concerts and making trips to Wal-Mart. Most of all, Robert loved spending time with his family. They were the most important things in his life.

The funeral will be at 11 AM on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Teike officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Friday, January 6, 2023, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Trueblood family to help offset expenses.

Robert is survived by his wife Timberly; his children Tyler S. Trueblood of Columbus, Alison P. Trueblood of Columbus; and Toby Pace of Freetown; 5 grandchildren; as well as his siblings Bryan Trueblood and Pamela Trueblood Siefert both of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; as well as a nephew Thomas L. Morris.
