Frances Fay Dixon, 87, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022. She was a long time resident of Seymour.

She was born January 5, 1935 in Brown County, IN. She married Clyde Dixon on April 7, 1951 in Columbus, IN. Survivors include her son, Rick Dixon of Rainsville, AL; one sister, Mildred Carson of Mooresville, IN; and six grandchildren, Carrie (Brian) Schryer, Angie Thompson, Alicia Anderson, Mikey Warren, Chad (Angela) Dixon and Sarah Dixon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clyde Dixon on April 16, 1984; and five children, Michael Dixon, Stephen Dixon, Clyde E. Dixon, Diane Fish and Sandy Holman; and one grandson, Steven Dixon.

Visitation will be from 5-8PM, Tuesday, January 3, at Voss & Sons Funeral Home, 316 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour. A funeral service will take place at 11:30AM, Wednesday at the funeral home.  She will be laid to rest at the Melott Cemetery, Brown County.
