BROWNSTOWN

Joseph E. Lucas, 75, of Brownstown passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at his home. Mr. Lucas was born In Seymour, IN, on September 11, 1947, the son of the late Edward R Lucas and Anna Z Kadlecova Lucas. Mr. Lucas was a graduated of Brownstown Central High School with the class of 1965, served in the National Guard and retired from Walmart Distribution as a truck driver.

Joe was a member of the Colt Collector Association, NRA, South Central Gun Club, Ohio Gun Collectors Association, and a Life member of the American Legion Post #89. He was an avid Colt gun collector.

Mr. Lucas is survived by three daughters, Lisa (Toby) Paswater, Wendy (Steve) Shoop, and Carrie (Todd) Roberts, 6 grandchildren, Jalen Paswater, Zoie Paswater, Carson Shoop, Gunnar Shoop, Coral Roberts, Ariel Roberts, and one sister Barbara (Paul) Hovener.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Anna Lucas.

Friends and family may call at Winklepleck &Brock Funeral Home, Brownstown, IN on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 12 o’clock noon until time of service at 2:00 pm. Mr. Lucas will be laid to rest following the service at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown, IN.

Memorials may be given to the NRA or donor’s choice.
