The Loyal Devoir Society of Central Christian Church’s annual Christmas dinner was Dec. 6 at Larrison’s Diner in Seymour.

There were 15 members and several guests present.

Helen Horton presented the devotions from Luke 2:4-14 and prayer.

The Christmas committee consisted of co-chairwomen Loretta Riehl and Betty Guinn. Members of the committee were Judy Carpenter, Joan Hines, Judy McDonald, Betsy McDonald, Gloria Allman, Helen Horton, Carolyn Bruce and Grace Low.

Gifts were given to the officers and special committees by Janice Brock, who also gave everyone candy favors.

Riehl, chairwoman of the nominating committee, announced the 2023 officers. They are president, Paula Stafford; vice president, Barb Bentley; secretary, Judy McDonald; and treasurer, Betty Guinn.

Brock thanked everyone for doing the things that she asked.

Gloria Allman and Betsy McDonald led the group in a couple of games and gave out prizes to the winners.

The meeting was closed with the Mizpah Benediction.
