The 77th annual Christmas Basket Fund grew to $6,520 on Tuesday thanks to recent donations totaling $400.

Those donations are:

In memory of Jake Taylor, $50, from Joann

In memory of Jim Johnson, $50, from Carol and Sara

In memory of Charles and Betty Acton, $25, from Carol and Sara

In loving memory of Earl and Wilma Johnson, $25, from Carol and Sara

In loving memory of Gale Taylor, $100, from Betty and family

In loving memory of Eldor and Ruth Spieker, $150, from Tom Weaver

Requests for assistance will be accepted through Thursday. To receive a gift card, people must live in Jackson County and submit a letter stating their need for assistance. Requests should be mailed to American Legion Basket Fund, P.O. Box 566, Seymour, IN 47274.

Donations may be mailed to or dropped off at American Legion Post 89, The Tribune or any JCBank branch.
