The combined choirs of Brownstown First Baptist Church and Vallonia Christian Church will present the cantata “Forever God Is With Us” at 7 p.m. Sunday at Vallonia Christian Church, 2344 S. Main St.

A second performance is set for 7 p.m. Dec. 18 at Brownstown First Baptist Church, 1095 S. State Road 135.

“Forever God Is With Us” by Marty Parks is the blessed message in song and narration of the hope, joy and peace found in the glorious truth that God is with us, according to a news release from the churches.

Soloist is Darrin Wan, and a children’s chorus features the Voices of Angels. Narrator is Susie Rommel. Director is Sandy Sunderman.

Members of the choir are Marlyn Meahl, Mischell Ferguson, Lewann Burrell, Amy Hartley, Mary Lou Grider, Mary Beth Covert, Mary Ann Spray, Dinah Nikitas, Anita Sturgeon, Sherri Sears, Doreen Bentz, Julie Eilbracht, Gretchen Booher, Susie Rommel, Debby Sweeney, John Spurgeon, Hans Eilbracht, Larry Covert, Tim Warren, J.D. Hopkins, Darrin Wan, Jerry Martin, Dave Wesner and Dick Burrell.

The children’s chorus features Ava and Madelyn Hounshel, Lucy and Lennon Booher and Addy McIntosh.

A time of fellowship will follow each program in the social room. Wan is the minister of Brownstown First Baptist Church, and Hopkins is the minister of Vallonia Christian Church.
