SEYMOUR

Carrie Ann Hounshel Wach, age 51, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2022 at Schneck Medical Center. She was born on October 4, 1971 to Jerry W. Hounshel (Shelby) of Vallonia, Indiana and Janet S. (Otte) Finet Finnerty (Robert) of Seymour, Indiana. She was an employee of Seymour Big Lots over two years. She graduated from Seymour High School in 1990.

Carrie was a free spirited lady that loved life and spending time with her friends and family. She was an animal lover and loved her dogs dearly. She was quite artistic and enjoyed coloring and pencils. She was was a wonderful caregiver for her grandmother. She was caring and sassy and loyal to those that she loved.

She is survived by her parents and one sister, Sarah Jane Geis of Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Marlyn L. and Bonnie (Hawn) Otte and her paternal grandparents, Elmer and Jessie Hounshel.

The family has chosen cremation and a Celebration of life service will be held on January 7, 2023 at 5:00 PM at Vallonia Christian Church.
