Larry Lynch, Franklin, went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2022. He was sixty-seven years old. Larry was born in Holyoke, MA to his parents, Jack and Joyce Lynch. Larry attended Indiana University where he studied to earn his Bachelor’s degree in political science and his Master’s degree in business.

Larry worked for Emmerich Manual High School, IVY Tech Community College and Christel House for seven years where he was an Instructor. Before working as an instructor, Larry worked for thirty years at Allison Transmission before he retired in 2007. Larry was a member of the UAW union for thirty years. He was very active with TTSGI organization. He enjoyed participating in the bowling league at Highway Lanes. Larry was a boy scout leader for many years and enjoyed mentoring anyone that he could take under his wing. Larry loved to maintain and ride his motorcycle as well as to get lost in the stories of his beloved books. The memories created will be cherished by those he leaves behind.

Larry is survived by his son, Josh (Megan Davidson) Lynch; his grandchild, Baylee; his mother, Joyce Sterling; his siblings, Robin (Dwight) Wischmeier, Terry (Lola) Lynch, Tim (Chris) Lynch, Andrew Lynch, Tony (Rita) Lynch, Joe Lynch and sister-in-law Patty Woodward; niece, Stephanie and several more nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in passing by his father, his step-mother, Nancy Lynch and his twin brother, Garry Lynch.

Vistation for family and friends will be Friday, October 21, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. A Celebration of Larry’s life will be Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana.
