Paid political letters submitted for publication in The Tribune before the Nov. 8 general election must be received by 5 p.m. Oct. 17.

The Tribune publishes letters to the editor during campaign seasons in support of or in opposition to political candidates and/or parties only after a $25 fee is received.

To submit a letter, go to tribtown.com/submit-letter-2. The fee may be paid by credit card by calling The Tribune at 812-522-4871. If paying by check or money order, payment may be mailed to 121 N. Chestnut St., Seymour, IN 47274 or you may pay in cash in person at the front counter.

The Tribune’s standard rules for letters to the editor also apply to paid political letters. Among these, letters may be no more than 500 words, writers may have no more than one letter published every 30 days and The Tribune reserves the right to edit letters for accuracy, content and style.
