Plans are underway for St. John’s Sauers Lutheran School’s fundraising auction.
The event is scheduled for Jan. 28 at Pewter Hall, 850 W. Sweet St., Brownstown. Doors will open at 4 p.m. with silent auction items and a cocktail hour, and dinner will start at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person.
Items are being sought for the auction, and the committee also is offering sponsorship opportunities for business, families and/or individuals. Sponsorship levels are $100, $250, $500 and $1,000 and include various incentives.
With funds raised from the event, the goal is to focus on some key items for the school: Playground equipment, energy-efficient lighting throughout the school, upgrades to the kitchen and security features to make the school safer.
