Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge will host an early celebration of National Public Lands Day with a volunteer work day Sept. 17.

Work will start at 9 a.m. at the visitor center and continue until noon. There will be work for volunteers of all ages and abilities with the goal of cleaning up the refuge. Everyone is welcome.
