Due to a possible early closing because of water outage at the Jackson County Public Library in Seymour, the Friends of the Jackson County Public Library will cancel its sale Saturday.

The next sale will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 5 with a Friends-member-only sale from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 4 and from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Nov. 5.

The group also has items for sale in the Book Nook in the Seymour Library lobby and ongoing sales carts at the Crothersville and Medora libraries.

Weather permitting at noon Saturday, Indiana American Water will have completed work on the water infrastructure in the area near the Seymour Library, so water may be shut off for the rest of that day.

The library will open at 9:30 a.m. Saturday and remain open as long as it has water service.
