Brownstown native Chris Baker came in clutch to close out his regular season on the Korn Ferry Tour.

The top 75 golfers on tour qualified for the Korn Ferry Finals, and Baker got the No. 75 spot to continue playing.

The Korn Ferry Finals are three tournaments. Two weeks ago, Baker shot three under par at the Albertsons Boise Open, and last week, he shot five over par and missed the cut at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship at Ohio State University.

This week is the final postseason tournament on the Korn Ferry Finals, and it’s back in Baker’s home state.

He is set to tee off at 1:05 p.m. today at Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh, which is just outside Evansville. Baker will be in a group with Pierceson Coody and Dean Burmester.

This event will be streaming today through Sunday on the Golf Channel and Peacock.

So far this season, Baker has played in 25 events, making the cut 14 times and having six top-25 finishes. He has accumulated $86,716 this season.
