The Loyal Devoir Society of Central Christian Church in Seymour met Aug. 23 for the annual picnic at the church.

Leader Loretta Riehl with Judy Carpenter, Judy McDonald and Betsy McDonald were in charge of the arrangements. There were 12 members and three guests present.

The tables were decorated with festive red and white tablecloths. Ten vases of zinnias with dishes of candy were on the tables.

After the bountiful meal, Janice Brock conducted a short business meeting.

It was decided by vote to have a Christmas dinner at Larrison’s Diner.

Sales representative Paula Stafford will order items to sell at the church.

Barb Bentley took pictures of the group for the scrapbook.

The meeting closed with the Mizpah Benediction.
